Prince Narula to make fiction TV debut as wrestler with Badho Bahu

Badho Bahu is his first fiction show, but Prince Narula says it is no different from the reality shows he has done because he is more or less playing himself in the serial. “Like me, the character I am playing is bindaas. I share many traits with Lucky (his character),” he smiles. Prince who won the last season of Bigg Boss claims that he had got several offers for fiction shows, but he wanted something that connected with youth. “When I heard the script of Badho Bahu, I liked it for a couple of reasons. I am playing a wrestler and the serial is coming after Sultan that revolved around the sport of wrestling. So, people will easily connect with the show. Also, Olympics have just concluded so there is a lot of interest in it,” says Prince.

The story about an overweight girl and a lean boy getting married has its germ in the hit film Dum Laga Ke Haisha. “I am glad everybody is looking at it as Dum Laga Ke Haisha, but when they watch the serial they will know how different it is from the film,” he says.

Apart from his show, Prince was also in the news for his relationship with Nora Fatehi, who was part of Bigg Boss 9. While he wanted to pursue her even after the show was over, she made it clear that she was not interested. Ask him about it and Prince evasively says, “When you are in a reality show and in one house you connect with the people there. But when you come out, you get busy with work and meet other people. That is why very few reality show relationships work outside. The only three people who I continue to bond after the show are Kishwer Merchantt, Suyyash Rai and Yuvika Choudhary.
